Simple Insights

Clarity can feel urgent because uncertainty is uncomfortable. But discernment is not normally produced on demand; it grows through years of learning God's Word, examining our motives, receiving counsel, admitting mistakes, and practicing obedience. Sometimes our frustration with uncertainty reveals that we want the benefit of wisdom without submitting to the process by which wisdom is formed.
